Three Precious Hours
Hi friends!
Summer with small kids is such a unique time.
The joy of traveling & road trip snacks.
Experiencing each summer with what feels like totally different kids as they’re a year older.
Trips to the neighborhood pool.
Saying yes a little more.
Delighting in seeing your kids play with their friends unstructured.
Books & puzzles & kinetic sand, on repeat.
It also means I’m squeezing in working when I can - if I owe you an email or text reply, I apologize, lol…
This summer I’m trying to be very thoughtful about my work time, both truly not working when I’m not working and with how I’m spending those precious few hours dedicated to tuning Purse & Clutch.
With my 3 hours of childcare this week, I’m spending my time dreaming of fall & holiday and WOW do we have some really fun things on the way!
I’d love to get your thoughts on what’s on the horizon!
With each upcoming collection, I’ve asked a question that you can simply comment below on this post & share your feedback!
First up.
I’ve decided that the new styles coming from our new Ethiopia artisan partners will be launching at the end of September so that I can do the photoshoot with the incredible ladies in my Mastermind while we’re in Sardinia (eek!).
This collection will include a larger tote with a laptop sleeve & a mid-sized crossbody with their more raw edge design style details. I’m obsessed with the one sample that has arrived & can’t wait to show you!

Next.
In the beginning of November we’ll be launching some new styles with our established artisan partners in Ethiopia. Eden has sent me some screenshots of several new styles & even a new leather technique that’s got my mind spinning with ideas!
Q: I’m still finalizing these designs - let me know what specific size or type of bag that you’ve been waiting for us to make!
Then.
Our Black Friday customer appreciation free gift weekend will be the weekend BEFORE Black Friday. I’m seeing lots of small businesses choose this timing since we know we can’t compete with the Best Buys of the world.
Q: I’m loving that other small businesses are choosing their own names for the weekend: what should we call ours??
I’ve seen Pink Friday, Grey Friday…

And finally.
December 1 we’re launching a holiday collection that will be incredible. A limited edition leather color that you’re going to go crazy over! I already want to keep one of each style, lol.
Q: Is launching on a Sunday night a good idea? We usually launch on Thursday mornings, but around the holidays, every day counts!
