The Unknown Collection
Y’all.
This Red Leather Collection.
If it could go wrong, it did go wrong.

First of all, I got the flu & couldn't make the photoshoot in person back in October.

Then on November, the photographer called to tell me that the fun & very holiday-themes photos of two styles of the five styles were corrupted & completely unusable.

Then the final straw. When our artisans went to pick up the red leather from the tannery after an already significant set of delays, the tannery informed them that they RAN OUT OF RAW HIDES.
You can’t make this stuff up.
I thought about just throwing in the towel, but so many of y'all reached out asking about when the red leather would be available. When I mentioned it wouldn’t make it by Christmas, I keep hearing again & again that you want to buy it for yourself as a Christmas gift & don't care about timing.
We've truly never had this much excitement about a limited edition color before!
So I’ve decided to just run with it.
We’re calling it The Unknown Collection & we’re just going to embrace the unknowns.
Goodness knows they’re all around us & as much as I want to, I can’t control most things that come my way.
But I can control how I respond!
SO.
I'm opening the collection up for preorder - and WHO KNOWS when they'll arrive.
The absolute best case scenario is 2 months, but with how things are going I'm going to say longer...maybe even 4 months, BUT rest assured. They will arrive.
It’ll be a fun way to actually surprise yourself for Christmas, in the Spring, lol.
We'll be getting just one red hide, which is 500 SQFT + about 55 bags. So if you're one of the folks feeling sad they missed out - NOW is your chance to make your dream come true!

And when you do eventually get your amazing bag, you can smile to yourself when you carry it - knowing the craziness it went through to exist.
And it can be your daily reminder that even though life is full of things out of our control, we’re people who choose to make it fun anyways!
Thank you for sitting in the unknown with me on this.
What you don’t see behind the scenes is that my little one is having a routine surgery on Monday & we’ve been told that the recovery can be rough. Sitting in more unknowns, but choosing to find little ways to make it fun - like diving full into Christmas movies.
I’d love your favorite suggestions for a 4 year old that a 40 year old would enjoy, too : )
