Black & White, Day to Night
This week's #HowDoYouStyleIt Guest Blogger is Lilly of Pancakes and Beet Juice.
Lilly is a Purse & Clutch affiliate blogger who writes about her home, life and love for fair trade style at Pancakes and Beet Juice. She lives in Dallas with her husband and her dog, Little Child, and spends her free time going to concerts, enjoying a bike ride around the lake and window shopping at the home improvement store.
Lilly chose to style the Black & White Nepali Clutch. Take it away!
Day: Since the Nepali clutch can hold an iPad, I think it is a great way to add some fun pattern and sophistication to daytime meetings and errands! Mixed prints are so popular right now, and the black and white contrast on the clutch adds dimension to the large hand blocked elephant print on the Symbology tunic and the smaller cheetah print on the TOMs wedges. The metallic orb bib necklace from Noonday Collection is feminine and a little tough at the same time. With the Nepali clutch, Symbology tunic, TOMs wedges and Noonday Collection necklace all being fair trade, you have an outfit that is as stylish and it is ethical!
Night: The sophistication of the shapes and contrast in the Nepali Clutch makes it an easy transition from day to dinner wear. To keep it sophisticated, I styled it with a shapely and classic black wrap dress from Threads 4 Thought and added a touch of glimmer with a shiny banded brass cuff made in India by Noonday Collection. The Blanco y Negro Infinity Scarf is another Noonday Collection piece that plays into the black and white of the clutch and is 100% alpaca to keep you warm and cozy as the fall temperatures drop at night! Red looks so great paired with black and whites, so I had to bring it back in my evening look with a pair of vegan pumps by Aldo.
